I want to BE ABLE to

Reunite Asylum Seekers With Their Children

The current crisis unfolding at the border is the result of Trump administration policies, driven by the view that immigrants and asylum seekers deserve nothing but cruelty and punishment.

For months, the administration has been systematically separating asylum-seekers from their children as they arrived at the southern border. More than 2,300 children have been forcibly taken from their parents. President Trump’s Executive Order, issued on June 20, doesn’t solve this humanitarian crisis. It claims to end family separation, but offers no plan to reunite the thousands of children who remain separated from their parents. Now the administration wants to jail these families and their children in makeshift detention camps.

The ACLU filed a federal lawsuit earlier this year to stop family separation and to demand that these children be reunited with their parents. We are in the courts, streets, and in Congress to hold the Trump administration accountable for the irreparable damage it has done to these young lives.

We need you in this fight.
